So that DevMeet is tomorrow! Any Toronto-dwellers going? :) I think I might, but I'm absolutely petrified.

I think it might be different if I had already known somebody from online who I'd be meeting up with there. But now it's like... yeah. It's pretty scary, not knowing anyone. It's like the first day of school, except I'll probably not ever see these people again. So, while that may seem like a perk at first glance, I also am fairly certain that translates pretty directly to: ONE CHANCE FOR A FIRST IMPRESSION MAKE THEM LIKE YOU OR DIE.

If you replace "die" with... "live forever knowing there are random people across the country who may dislike you or have untoward opinions of you" then that's pretty accurate.

Who wants to take votes on whether I'll pee myself or vomit?
I vote vomit, personally... but then I've been wrong before.

That's great. You're sure to find one there. You can find all kinds of things at dollar stores. Y'know, the first thing that sprang to my mind when I read the flag thing was those... those little flags on toothpicks? I just pictured a bunch of people holding up teeny little flags. Anyway, I digress. Any idea how many people would be showing up? :)

Unless everyone were really close to the camera... but with 40+ people, that probably wouldn't work.

Hmm... well, I may drag a non-deviant friend of mine along for the ride. She's a bit stir crazy since she's out of school and... well, yeah. So she might tag along. +1 for the census.

But yeah, here's hoping for a good turnout. :D
