So I have this thing for school. It's a photography assignment that technically should've been done like... a thousand yesterdays ago? So um. Yes. I'm thinking I'll do it. The problem is, I have no idea what to do.

It's supposed to be inspired by the urban environment, specifically this city. All photos (there ought to be about eight or so) must relate and have a similar "theme" of sorts. They should be put together in a professional-looking portfolio and accompanied by a three page essay about the "theme" and why I chose these pictures, discussing my use of shading and textures, etc. Each piece should evoke emotion.

So I can't really say much.
I mean, the city doesn't have THAT much that doesn't scare the crap out of me to begin with, and "things that scare me" seems like too broad a theme. I don't have models or people I can MAKE model for me. None. So no people shots, please. (I am total fail when it comes to photographing myself.)
My lenses aren't the greatest, and I can't really catch moving things that well. I'd try it, but I don't know how good it'd be.
So I need something that stays relatively still, doesn't involve a person or people, and can easily be done in eight different ways that all still relate to a main theme.
Which I also don't have.

Whomever said homeschooling was easy should be shot.

If they are, I'd suspect something stress-related.
